An iconic comic character with her own blog?

We recently came across one of the most iconic cartoon character's blog where she post her latest outfit creations from up and coming designers, has an online diary, shares her musings on music, fashion and art, writes about hot lifestyle topics and feature women who are bold and fierce like herself. This sounds like a great blog right? We agree! So who is this iconic character?

Hint: she is considered the first lady of cartoons.

Darling little things!

Bows are cute and girly and add a nice feminine touch to any look. We love them so much that we dedicated a Pinterst board, We Love Bows, to these darling little things. We were excited when Sara Vickers, who blogs at Classy Girls Wear Pearls, created a line of wrist bow-ties for those girly girls who do not want to wear bow-ties in the traditional sense. The Vickers Bow are the latest collection for Kiel James Patrick, a Rhode Island accessory company. Each silk bow is hand-sewn in Rhode Island and has a fun name like Twiggy, Scarlett O'Hara, and Dapper Huey. These will make great stocking stuffers for those girly girls in your life!

Would you wear bow ties in the traditional sense, on your wrist, or both ways? Let us know in the comments!

The big comfy scarf!

Right now we are loving big, over-sized knitted scarves (as well as big comfy sweaters). They're simple chic, keep you warm and is proof that comfort and style can work well together. This statement piece is the perfect accessory and a great way to update your look. You can pair these scarves with jeans and riding boots for a casual look or with a blazer and heels for a more polished look.

Style Icon: Diana Ross

Diana Ross is a living legend and Motown royalty. Her name is synonymous with glamour, style, and elegance. She is know for her soulful voice as well as her iconic style. Even when she was with The Supremes (1959- 1970), she designed many of their costumes

Her style evolved throughout her career, whether it was her glamorous mod style of the 60s, her feisty disco era style of the 70s, or her big and colorful style of the 80s. Miss Ross always kept it sexy but classy and had her own individual style (and still does). She wore casual with simple elegance and evening gowns like a queen.

Diana Ross and the Supremes
Diana Ross and Michael Jackson were good friends. She helped launch the Jackson 5. Their debut album was named: "Diana Ross presents the Jackson 5."

Leather, intimidating?

Leather is a pretty intimidating fabric to wear, leather leggings anyone? But wearing leather sleeves is a happy medium and a great way to incorporate leather into your wardrobe...slowly. They adorn classic wardrobe staples like military and denim jackets, sweaters, trench coats, and simple tees for a edgy chic look.

Here are a few ways to wear leather sleeves:

"Baby, it's cold outside!"

The most important thing for your fall/winter wardrobe, is probably your winter coat. It's the first and last thing people will see you in, so make a good impression. Our favorite looks for the season are bright colors, leopard prints, capes, and camel colored coats. You can mix these looks with colorful and neutral scarves, gloves and hats for a super chic look while staying warm and fashionable.

If the fall/winter blues is hurting your wardrobe, be inspired by the colors of the rainbow and add a pop of color for those not so sunny days.

Leopard print
This print is a classic so it's not going anywhere! It's a bold, fun look and can be made bolder with a stripe or polka dot scarf for a little mix printing.

Little Red Riding Hood knew what she was doing when she wore her cape. It's a forgiving silhouette and can be worn with or without a belt.

This ladylike coat is also a classic like the leopard print and trench coat. Since it's a neutral color, it can take you though many cold seasons to come.

Sequins for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!

Wearing sequins in the daytime can be fun but intimidating. This is a bold fashion move and can be worn morning, noon and night, even in the workplace. By mixing your sequins top with something more structured, like a blazer or jacket, tones down the look. It's one of the easiest way to wear sequins and also makes it an easy transition from day to night. For work, keep your accessories to simple studs, a watch, and nude or black pumps. For night, you can go for a bold look by adding a chunky necklace, or scarf.

"Put his favorite perfume on, Go play a video game"

With a sultry voice and a fashion style to match, Lana Del Rey is a style icon in the making. She was born June 21, 1986 in New York City, NY as Elizabeth Woolridge Grant and signed her first recording contract with 5 Points Records at the age of 20. Her stage name is a combination of the late Hollywood actress Lana Turner and the Ford Del Rey.

Her music video "Video Games," filmed using her own web cam and old home movies, was a commercial hit on YouTube and had everyone wondering who this girl with the beautiful voice. Even with criticism over her "bad" performance on Saturday Night Live, everyone was still intrigued by her. Her album Born to Die sold almost 2.8 million copies and is one of the best selling albums of 2012.

"Video Games" music video:

Her style is described as a "gangsta Nancy Sinatra" and is a mixture of the 60's, a hipster, and old Hollywood glamour. Her sense of style has gotten the attention of many in the fashion industry. She is the face of H and M's fall and holiday collection, the face of the Jaguar F- type luxury car, and the name behind Mulberry's It Bag, the Del Rey.

The Del Rey Bag:

In honor of her album, Born to Die:The Paradise Edition, releasing today, we've put together a collection of her amazing style. Enjoy and Happy Tuesday!

What's that on your upper lip!?

The mustache trend has been around for a few seasons and it doesn't seem to be going anywhere. This is definitely one reason why fashion should be fun, quirky and have people saying 'you mustache be crazy!'' You will find people on both sides of the spectrum, those that love this trend and those that hate this trend. We think it's a personal preference. To us? It's one mustache we wouldn't mind wearing!

Here are cute and easy ways that you can incorporate this trend into your wardrobe:

The best part of fall?

One of the best things about a new season are the new fashion trends and collections that will have you styling from A to Z. This fall season, we are loving the versatile leopard print, sparkle and shine, cute graphic sweaters and sexy little booties.

Here are 3 of our favorite fall collections:

This collection is filled with straight, clean lines, soft hues and animal prints. Louis Wong, the spokesperson for the design team, says they kept things close to home and looked to the people on the streets surrounding their showroom for style ideas.

This collection is sparkly and bold with many different textures for a funky put together look. This collection is fierce and will have the wearer walking like she's on an imaginary runway. Not bad at all!

Target is our home away from home and when we walked into our local Target a few days ago, our mouths just dropped! This collection is versatile, classic and can be worn from season to season.
