An iconic comic character with her own blog?

We recently came across one of the most iconic cartoon character's blog where she post her latest outfit creations from up and coming designers, has an online diary, shares her musings on music, fashion and art, writes about hot lifestyle topics and feature women who are bold and fierce like herself. This sounds like a great blog right? We agree! So who is this iconic character?

Hint: she is considered the first lady of cartoons.

Olive Oyl, yes Miss Olive Oyl has her own blog and a cute style to match! Check out her blog here.

She was created by Elzie Crisler Siger in 1919 for his comic strip Thimble Theatre. This comic strip was later renamed Popeye when Popeye himself came into the picture in 1929. For 10 years it was Popeye who? Olive was the star of the show and was her own woman long before Popeye came along.

2012 has been a big year for Olive. She took the role of digital correspondent and covered some of the hottest events during this years Fashion’s Night Out (FNO) and connected with New York-based fashion designers via social media. She is represented by New York City-based King Features and has themed collaborations with today's top style brands. She's living out a fashion bloggers dream and we ain't mad at that.

Check out her style:

Does this girl have style or what?
