A whole lot of tulle!

One of the most memorable Carrie Bradshaw looks, and probably one of our favorite is her tutu like mint green tulle dress! It's flirty, fun, and shows that tutus are not just for little girls and ballerinas but for fashionistas who are willing to take fashion risk.

Tulle skirts are unexpected but quirky, and push the fashion boundary. This look can be hard to pull off. Here our a few Wil Harris tips to help you do so:

Foot wear is important with this look. Try booties, simple pumps, or even combat boots for a nice contrast.

Wear statement jewelry. An arm party or a chunky necklace can add edge.

♥As a rule of thumb, if you are wearing a full or loose fitting bottom, keep the top fitted. Try a fitted tee or jacket.

Tulle works well with other fabrics and textures. Try a leather jacket or a graphic
sweater to balance out the look.

♥Try different lengths like calf or knee length to find the right one for you.

♥Like Carrie, you can find a dress that already has a built-in tulle skirt.

♥Remember, fashion is all about experimenting and having fun, don't take it too seriously :)

    1. Thanks for the love and support Rachel!

Here are a few shopping sites that we recommend based on our experience:
Forever 21.com has really great items in their stores but a much bigger inventory online. It's the best!
Lulu's.com have outfits for every occasion and have the cutest styles. They also have great prices and have free shipping and returns!
ModCloth.com is like an online community of shoppers with a little vintage feel. Great unique selections.
SaboSkirt.com has really trendy clothes and accessories.

We hope this helps; let us know how it goes!!!

    2. Wow this is GREAT! I have a feeling I'll be spending my afternoon shopping online!
I made my first ever online purchase the other night, I wish I was introduced to online shopping long ago... (Although my husband and our bank account would say otherwise...)
