A little pep!

The peplum trend continues for fall 2012. It was all over the runways of Fashion week with designers like Italian luxury goods house Bottega Veneta, and Paris fashion House Lanvin.

This is great news! Why? Because the holiday season is quickly approaching which means we can hide all of our flaws (from eating a little bit too much of that oh so delicious turkey and stuffing) while still showing off our womanly curves with grace and style. It's a great way to celebrate a woman's curves in a sophisticated and elegant way.

If you have naturally wide hips, wear a smaller peplum or a peplum top to accentuate them. If you have a slim or boyish shape, you can wear peplum tops or bottoms for an illusion of a hourglass shape. We personally love this trend and think most women can pull it off; whether you're a peplum top girl or a peplum bottom girl.

  1. Absolutely love this trend! I hope it sticks around for a while, because I agree, it's very flattering, and highlights the (right) curves in such a great way.

  2. I just have to say, yours is the only site that I can browse without fashion envy. I love the inspiration I get from your Blog, really. I don't live close to any clothing stores (4 hours away, in fact!) and I am not an online shopper. So I rarely ever read "What I Wore" posts and never pin outfits because of fashion envy! However, when I do go shopping, I reference your site and the latest trends!
    I love this look!
