The Nicaraguan beauty is the epitome of a style icon. She was a 70's glam goddess, made the androgynous suit look like she was born in it and was never afraid to push the fashion boundary. Her enduring style consisted of sequins, fur, one-shoulder and Grecian dresses, turbans, chokers, hats, silk and suits.
She had a reputation as a party-goer and jet-setter and was close friends with Andy Warhol, an American artist, and was known for making regular appearances at the Legendary New York Club, Studio 54.

She made historic fashion when she wore an ivory Yves Saint Laurent suit for her wedding to Rolling Stone Musician, Mick Jagger...and without a bra.
"Everyone thinks I was making a deliberate fashion statement by wearing the jacket without a shirt, but they didn't realize I was pregnant with Jade (her daughter). The shirt was too tight."

After their divorce in 1978 she later said, "My marriage ended on my wedding day."
|"I am not just a celebrity, I'm a human-rights advocate for the last 20 years."|
