Rocking the Anorak

The quintessential jacket, the anorak, bring a touch of edge to any outfit. They're not just for soccer moms, the weekend, and people who backpack through the mountains anymore.

They give a sporty vibe, come in an assortment of bright colors, have beautiful detailing, and make you look chic on any rainy day. Like a trench coat, it can take you from day to night.

You can wear an anorak jacket with a floral print dress for a luch date, a graphic t-shirt and jeans for weekend errands or with a feminine lace top for date night.

  1. I remember when I was younger and our mums and aunts wore this type of coat. I can't believe since then how fashionable it has become. The style inspiration pics are really impressive, I like all the different colours

    1. Yeah, they do look similar but are also very different.

A parka is usually knee length, less fitted, super thick, have a hood lined with fur and zips all the way to the nose for those super cold winters. An anorak jacket is more fitted with a drawstring around the waist, waist or hip length, a hood with no fur and lightweight.

Jackets are fun pieces to add to your wardrobe. Have a great one Melanie!
