Summer reading for the fashion lover!

Are you looking forward to those warm lazy summer days, the lure of the beach towel around your waist, the soft warm sand between your toes, the smell of the ocean breeze, cloudless blue skies, or even that long plane ride to paradise while losing yourself in a good book? Welcome to the summer! With summer comes all of these wonderful things and of course summer reading.

Find your next great summer read or your next 10! We've found 10 novels set in the fashion and beauty world, about following your dreams, love, scandal, murder, mystery and yes even vampires. These novels are so captivating, even that gorgeous man coming out of the pool won't take your eyes away from the page (OK, maybe you might take a little peek).

1.  Fashion Babylon
by Imogen Edwards-Jones and Anonymous
Synopsis: Taking the reader through six months in a designer's life, Fashion Babylon follows an anonymous A-list British fashion designer looking to break out across the pond. Structured around three of the annual "must" industry events, this irresistible work of reportage goes inside the well-cut seams of the fashion world, where women are paid tens of thousands of dollars for simply getting dressed and where a wrong skirt length can cost you your career. You'll find out how a collection is put together -- from the objects of inspiration to the catwalk, into the shops and, hopefully, onto the cover of a magazine -- and learn who goes to the shows and where they sit...and whose backside they have to kiss to get there.

Through a chance encounter, she lands a position as a personal assistant for the beautiful, self-proclaimed socialite, Adelle, a happily married wife, expectant mother and the owner of a successful footwear company seeking help in order to continue her life of leisure. Before long, Summer is living the high life being showered with Adelle’s lavish gifts – Gucci bags, extravagant trips in private jets and even star studded parties – but then a startling secret is revealed, forcing Summer to face her own sliding doors moment and make a life changing decision. Does she give up this luxurious lifestyle and leave or compromise her integrity and beliefs in order to stay?
