Fashionable toons!

Who would have thought that our favorite cartoon characters growing up can become an inspiration for fashion? These designers sure did!

We picked 8 of our favorite fashionable characters who definitely are an inspiration to fashion. Enjoy!

1. Daphne Blake, Scooby-Doo
She did color-blocking beautifully with her purple dress, pink pantyhose, purple shoes, and  green scarf. Her fashion sense could outshine any mystery.

2. Cruella De Ville, 101 Dalmatians
She was cruel like her name suggested but you have to admit she is fashionable! With her fur coat and LBD she’s fit for a fashion show.

3. Patti Mayonnaise, Doug

No wonder Doug had a mega crush on Patti. Her casual style showed she was laid back and sweet. Plus her short blonde hair was tres chic!

4. Carmen Sandiego, Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego
This jet-setting diva taught us about geography, history, math, and English; an educational show that was worth watching on Saturday mornings. That feminine red coat and sleek black body suit is why she's on this list!

5. Shana Elmsford, Jem and the Holograms
Shana was the shy one in the five member girl band but was a star in her own right. She played bass and the drums and designed many of the groups clothes. Their style was all about big hair, bright colors and sparkle. We <3 the 80's!

6. Betty Boop

She may have had a big head but she had an even bigger style. Along with Coco Chanel during the Great Depression, she made the LBD a fashion staple. Today she is one of the most popular cartoon characters in the world.

7. Jane Jetson, The Jetsons
This housewife and mother of two definitely had style. She was obsessed with fashion and her favorite store was Mooning Dales. Her style was out of this world, literally (the shows time period was 2062)!
8. Gadget Hackwrench, Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers
She was the teams pilot, inventor, and engineer. She moved, talked and thought quickly and does all this in her stylish purple jumpsuit. Sometimes she added a red flower in her hair for a more feminine look.
