Baroque Prada!

Prada's spring 2011 collection included these quirky baroque round sunglasses that are truly works of art. They sure do make a statement and are classic, modern, and effortlessly chic.

They may set you back $290 for a pair but they are more than just a fashion accessory; it's also a nod to art. The swirling baroque detailing embraces the grandeur and sculpture of the baroque era. Prada was able to form the perfect marriage between fashion and architecture seamlessly.

The baroque era started in the 17th and 18th centuries and is a term used to describe the architecture, music and art of that time period. This style lavished buildings in intricate shapes, opulent paintings, and extravagance.

They also come in brown, cobalt blue and black.

If you don't want to spend $290 on a pair of sunglasses, don't worry because we found the look for less!
