Classic accessories!

You have a hot date tonight and you picked out the perfect little black dress, took a long shower with Bath and Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom, used Cover Girl's Outlast for the hottest red lips, fixed your hair in loose spiral curls, and added a dab of perfume behind your ears, knees and wrists .. but there's that one special thing that can take your outfit from yes to oh yes...the classic accessory!

 It adds the finishing touch to any outfit. A little black dress or blue jeans and a white tee look effortless and simple but when you add a shawl, a brooch, a clutch a belt or a blazer, you better watch out! 

Accessories should complement and complete your over all look. Coco Chanel said it best because "when accessorizing always take off the last thing you put on."

Style it like Beckham!

David Beckham may have retired from football but we hope he won't retire from his style game! He is probably one of the most stylish athletes and can rock a tailored suit like nobody's business. Beckham definitely has his own style and sticks to a neutral color palette with the occasional color.

His casual style is nothing but casual. Its's effortless, simple, and natural. Relaxed fitted jeans, beanie hats, plaid shirts, tees, scarves, and reading glasses are a few of the items that make up casual Beckham. He keeps things interesting with a jacket over a jacket, a white tee peeking through a chambray shirt, or a rugged messenger bag.

Beckham just doesn't wear a suit he wears a suit. He takes his casual wear and transforms it into his formal wear. A neutral color palette, classic pieces, and clean lines make his formal wear modern and timeless. There's nothing like a tailored suit! 

Posh and Becks make one posh couple. Beckham's neutral color palette works great against his wife's colorful ensembles.They complement each other nicely.

Mary Janes!

At one point, when we thought of Mary Jane shoes, we thought of a little girl in her Sunday's best wearing her black patent leather Mary Jane shoes with white socks—the ones with the ruffles. Now, when we think of Mary Janes, we think of the classic 90s movie Clueless, where Cher and Dionne walked the halls of their Beverly Hills high school in their platform Mary Janes or this famous Sex and the City scene where Carrie thought the Manolo Blahnik Campari Mary Jane heels were an urban shoe myth.

 Mary Janes have a single strap or multiple straps across the top of the foot. They were a popular style for school girls, think Shirley Temple. The name comes from the shoes worn by Mary Jane, a character from the Buster Brown comic strip, a children's comic that was popular in the early 1900s. 

Whether you like a thick strap, ballet flats, pointy toes or open toes, there are many options out there for you to choose from.
